Dana Point Harbor gives this city the heaviest salt load of anywhere we serve. Cars parked near the water here pick up marine deposit faster than anywhere in Newport or Laguna, and a lot of our Dana Point clients keep a boat, which means the car often sits in the harbor lot for hours in direct spray. That single fact drives most of what we recommend locally: cast film only, edges sealed properly, and a ceramic coating on top so the salt sits on the coating and rinses off instead of etching into the film texture.

The other Dana Point reality is grade. The streets climbing off Pacific Coast Highway toward the Lantern District are steep, and steep driveways plus a low exotic means front lip contact. We put paint protection film on the lip and lower valance under the wrap for almost every low car in this area, and we set the wrap edges back from the contact points so a scrape does not turn into a peel.

We are about thirty minutes down the coast from our Costa Mesa shop. For clients who would rather not drive it, we can arrange pickup and delivery on both ends.
