Some cars arrive and quietly join the fleet. This one did not. Our newest 911 is a 2026 Carrera 4 GTS finished in full satin grey, and it has been built to a specification you are not going to find on a dealer lot or in anyone else's rental fleet in Southern California.

It makes 600 horsepower. It puts that power down through all four wheels. And it wears a combination of parts most owners never commit to: GT3 center lock wheels and a 911 Turbo S rear wing, over a red leather interior that turns the whole car into something far more theatrical than a standard GTS.

Why satin grey changes everything

Gloss paint reflects. Satin absorbs. On a 911 — a shape that is essentially one continuous curve from the front fender to the rear haunch — a satin finish does something gloss cannot. It reveals the body line instead of hiding it behind a highlight. In direct Southern California sun, the car reads as a solid sculpted object rather than a mirror.

It also photographs unlike anything else in the fleet. If you are booking for a content shoot, an engagement session, a music video, or a product launch, satin grey holds detail in bright midday light where gloss black or white will blow out. Our clients shooting on Pacific Coast Highway at golden hour consistently get their best frames from satin cars.

The details that make this one different

GT3 center lock wheels. A single central nut instead of five lugs — the same mounting system Porsche uses on its motorsport-derived cars. Visually it clears the face of the wheel completely, so you see spoke and brake rather than hardware. It is the kind of detail other Porsche people notice from across a parking lot.

911 Turbo S rear wing. Wider and more aggressive than what a Carrera wears from the factory. It changes the entire rear three-quarter profile of the car and gives it a stance closer to the top of the 911 range.

Red leather interior. Against satin grey, red is a deliberate, confident choice. Open the door on a valet stand and it lands. This is not a subtle car and it was never meant to be.

All-wheel drive. The Carrera 4 designation matters more than people expect in Southern California. Cold early mornings in the canyons, damp coastal pavement, an unexpected rain day — all-wheel drive makes the 911 far more usable in real conditions, and far more forgiving for a driver who has never had this much power behind them before.

Who this car is for

The 911 has always been the exotic you can actually drive all day. It is narrower than a Lamborghini, easier to place on a road, easier to park in Newport Beach, and comfortable enough that a run to Palm Springs is a pleasure rather than an endurance event. But this particular build removes any question of it being the sensible choice.

Where to drive it

Start with a delivery to your hotel or home anywhere in Orange County. Head south on Pacific Coast Highway through Laguna and Dana Point while the traffic is still thin. Cut inland to Ortega Highway — the 911's balance and steering feel come alive on that road in a way no straight-line supercar can match. Come back along the coast in the late afternoon when the light goes gold and the satin paint does its best work.

If you have a full day, the run out to Palm Springs or up through Malibu suits this car as well. All-wheel drive and 911 usability mean you can cover real distance and still arrive comfortable.
